Ahmed El Sweedy is the President and CEO of Al-Suwaidi Electric Co. (www.elsewedy.com) in 1986. He took the initiative to grow the business of the Sewedy family, managing the first private cable factory in Egypt (the Arab Cable Company) and transforming it into one of the largest factories around the world that provides integrated solutions in the field of energy with more than thirty production facilities in sixteen countries that employ more than 14,000 workers, technicians and engineers... in addition to exporting a wide range of high-quality and safe products to more than 110 countries around the world (Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Far East). ... During the years he spent in this position, Ahmed Al-Suwaidi has increased the value of business nearly a hundred times, and now Al-Suwaidi Electric S.A.E. It is restricted in Cairo to assets of about $1.5 billion. This is the market value in 2016. Today, Al-Suwaidi Electric manufactures cables, transformers, insulators, meters, the construction of electrical power generation, transmission and distribution networks, in addition to managing solar power plants and wind farm components. Ahmed Al-Suwaidi received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cairo University in 1986. He now has nearly thirty years of experience in the field of electrical and energy industries. Ahmed Al-Suwaidi is the president of the Egyptian-Chinese, Ethiopian, Zimbabwean, Iraqi and Lebanese Business Council and member of the Business Council of South Africa, Tunisia, Algeria , Kenya, Austria, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, in addition to his effective role as a member of the American and French Chambers of Commerce. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the German and American Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of the Egyptian Businessmen Association, the Vice Chairman of the Egyptian Food Bank, the Al-Suwaidi Charitable Foundation and many other business and non-profit organizations.

About El Sweedy Technical Academy

The El Sweedy Technical Academy was established in 2011 to follow El Sewedy Electric factories, as a commitment by the El Sewedy Electric Foundation to develop the community and serve the industry by developing the technical education and vocational training system in Egypt and the region. The Academy offers specialized technical education and vocational training in major and major industries in accordance with the latest international standards for 1200 students in my school in 10th of Ramadan City. The Academy offers professional training programs in cooperation with industry partners and international partners to raise the efficiency of current employment, as well as contribute to reducing unemployment by training non-workers, improving job opportunities, creating equal opportunities and empowering women. It is planned to reach 10,000 beneficiaries (students and trainees) in Egypt and Africa by 2025
