Get to know Al-Suwaidi Technical Academy

The technical education model at Al-Suwaidi Technical Academy depends mainly on the implementation of the technical education systems of the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, which focuses mainly on practical training at the headquarters of training facilities (factories and companies), which in turn requires students to attend two days in school to obtain theoretical study and learn cultural subjects. On the other hand, they attend four days in factories and companies to obtain practical skills and implement the required technical competencies related to the needs of the labor market.
In preparing curricula and courses, Al-Suwaidi Academy also relies on the professional competency methodology, which is mainly based on graduating students who are able to carry out tasks related to the field of specialization and based on its design to meet the needs of the labor market. In addition, curricula are designed by involving labor market representatives, educational experts, as well as some international bodies at the beginning of the curriculum design and development process, making students able to meet the needs of the labor market in terms of skills, knowledge and trends that qualify them to perform the tasks of the specialized profession in order to facilitate the transition to the labor market after completing the academic study.
Perhaps what distinguishes Al-Suwaidi Academy is the international accreditation of student curricula and certificates in different disciplines. Various complementary programs are also obtained, which are related to the development of English language skills, as well as personal skills development programs that support counseling, professional guidance and qualifying students to the labor market.
Moreover, the Swedish Academy provides employment opportunities after graduation through the Employment Unit, which is responsible for communicating with private sector companies in the same fields of specialization as students.
